Why Do Democrats Promote Abuse?

Democrats took years to finally dump Eric Swalwell for habitual sexual harassment.  Chris Murphy, Chuck Schumer, Elizabeth Warren, and Bernie Sanders lauded Nazi-tattooed Graham Platner even though they knew that he had a history as an abuser.  They stuck with him until the details of sexual harassment, rape, and kidnapping became widespread.

In Connecticut, the Democrats are sticking with Nick Menapace, even after he publicly said that he wanted to punch a female legislator in the face.  Democrats have tried to excuse this threat by saying that he didn’t say it to her face.  But he did say it in her hearing.  Any woman knows that to be a threat.

Nick also treated two Hartford staffers in a manner that earned his own party’s censor and a demand that he write a formal letter of apology.  We aren’t allowed to know what he did, and we aren’t allowed to read the letter.

This past year, Nick made a TikTok video of slander against a fellow legislator.  Once again, the Democrats censored Nick.

Why did it take The New London Day until October 8th to criticize Menapace - in a small article - for his behavior in the spring? Just enough to prove the editors did allow comment just before ballots go out. WFSB reported on Nick's behavior in the spring, I spoke on the radio about it in the spring and again in late September, and a FB poster did, too.

Nick managed to rack up this record in his first two-year term, yet the Democrats still put him forward for a second term.  This is a disservice to the people of the 37th district, and to Nick himself.  Threatening to hit a woman in the face should not be rewarded with his party’s endorsement or anyone's vote.
