Governor Ned Lamont is Working Hard for His Constituents

Two-term Governor Lamont wants a third term to continue working his plan for the state of Connecticut.

Among his many accomplishments, Governor Lamont signed House Bill 5340, PA 19-35, PA 20-5, and PA 26-127. These legislative acts established the public benefits charge, paid by electricity company customers, to funnel billions to subsidize private electric companies.

He also signed PA 19-117, which raised taxes on groceries and takeout food.

Lamont’s PA 19-25 raised an average of $600.00 more income taxes on all workers.

Lamont’s sanctuary state government is making sure that undocumented residents are receiving state health insurance funded by taxpayers.

During COVID, and long after, the Governor kept the people of Connecticut safe with mandated COVID testing. Paid for by the state to his wife’s Oak HC/FT fund’s entity, SEMA4, via a no-bid contract.

Ned Lamont looked out for all the investors in Annie Lamont’s related Investment Fund Oak HC/FT Partners IV LP. Must have done well, but we don’t know. The money is in the Cayman Islands.

Ned watched out for the media with a 70-million-dollar hand up. That contract is over 1,000 pages.

If you’re worried about your neighbor’s basement wall failing rest easy, property owners. That $12.00 surcharge on your house insurance will pay contractors to fix it for them.

And don’t worry about you old dehumidifier. I received a message from our governor telling me that I can get a $50.00 rebate by turning in my old dehumidifier at big box Lowe's and buying a new one there. Sorry local businesses.

There’s so much more to Ned, but in the interest of time, I’ll end by saying:

Governor Lamont is working very hard for his constitutions, but the average taxpayer isn't one of them.
