The New London Day Rides to the Rescue

According to the editorial board of The New London Day Democrat House Representative Nick Menapace and Republican House Representative Greg Howard had a “kerfuffle” at the Connecticut capitol. “Menapace claimed Howard harassed . . . representatives . . . and people who have run against him.” Hmmm. Did the board listen to Nick’s TikTok post? Nick actually claimed that Republican House Representative Greg Howard, a police officer, “used his job to harass people. He’s harassed other state representatives.” A statement so false that even Democratic House Speaker Matt Ritter “rebuke[ed]” Menapace for his TT post.
The board did note that previously Menapace had a kerfuffle with a House staffer, but did not give details. They completely ignored that Republican House Representative Gale Mastrofrancesco said that Menapace “blurted out, and many of my colleagues heard him, that he couldn’t stand me and he wanted to punch me in the face.”
Why, you might wonder, did Nick post the TT video? Why not? He apparently got away with threatening a colleague. In any case, the board must have searched out a helicopter mommy to write that “the Connecticut state legislature forces . . . debate into all hours . . .” Nick might have been “running on adrenaline, caffeine, and not much else . . [and he should be given] a bit of a break . . . he’s a first-year legislator.”
Oh, my. If that characterization of Nick as fragile, which I don’t believe he is - they apparently do - is accurate, I hope he never joins the military. Those guys are notoriously demanding and deaf to Mommy’s rationalizations. Besides, Mommy actually needs to take the Democrats to task - they run the show at the Capitol.
The board pulled the computer away from Mommy and ripped back the Bates Motel shower curtain to reveal (fanfare) Donald Trump! Yes Donald Trump - the Norman Bates of Democratic nightmares. And the nightmare gets worse, dear reader! Howard, Trump, and ICE are one. Home run, hole in one, touchdown, goal - no tiresome critical thinking required, reader, just howl at the moon, The New London Day has your back.
Democrats, you’re going to miss Donald Trump when he’s gone.

WASHINGTON – Over the weekend, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested more criminal illegal aliens convicted for horrific crimes including capital murder, sex crimes against children, assault with a deadly weapon, and kidnapping.
“While Americans celebrated Mother’s Day, the NICE men and women of ICE risked their lives to arrest and remove criminal illegal aliens from American communities,” said Acting Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis. “This weekend, ICE arrested a murderer, pedophiles, violent assailants, and a kidnapper. Under President Trump and Secretary Mullin, we are protecting American families by removing the worst of the worst from our neighborhoods before they can victimize another innocent American.”
