Fauci Takes the Fifth on Masks

No need to discuss Anthony Fauci's appearance at the Senate hearings on Wednesday, I will simply say that after having us run around for months with handkerchiefs over our faces, he said that we had to wear surgical masks, then he said they weren't effective, and finished up by saying we needed respirator masks.
I guess Fauci hadn't read the OSHA guidelines published as early as 2003, Read some of them for yourself below. (First 3). Note that surgical masks help protect against big messes, not particulates like viruses. I wish that you could read OSHA's notice that wearing surgical masks in industrial settings would not even stop gritty particles, but if workers felt better wearing one, let them. That's been removed or buried. (Second 2) I wish I had taken better and more screen shots.
Here's something else to think about. Remember that in 2020, China had millions and millions of masks, but we had a serious shortage? You might also remember how rich China grew from supplying all sorts of medical supplies and drugs to us, with the hint that we could be cut off at any time.
When Anthony Fauci funded gain-of- function research, he had to know about our dependence on the supply line from China. What do we make of that?
