Chuck Schumer Plays Cards

I feel sorry for Chuck Schumer and a bit grateful, too.  He alerted us to the deep state - call it what you will - when Chuck warned Trump that those guys have “six ways from Sunday to get back at you." At the time, Schumer seemed happy with the status quo, but he might not be anymore.

The dogs have been unleashed on him. Socialists Democrat pit bulls snapping at his heels as he plays, Chuck is shuffling the deck as fast as his old fingers can manage.  The shut down card didn’t let him sweep the table.  Not enough people blamed the Republicans, and the plan boomeranged a bit.  Even Democrats noted the shut down constituted a political strategy, not a principle.

Shut down egg of their faces, the Democrats stayed at the table and bet on the Epstein files, despite having ignored his operation for almost two decades.  The Republicans called their bluff, joined the vote to release, and countered with a vote to condemn socialism. That’s sure to divide the Democrats, but they’re still in the game.  After all they hold the Trump card with its magical properties that drives half of the country insane.

And then there’s Marjory Taylor Greene.  After falling out with the president, on November 21st Greene announced her resignation.  She knows when to get up from the table, having sat down with a net worth of $700,000, made 555 stock trades in five years - the last one on November 13, 2025 - and is going home with $25 million and full Congressional benefits.

My head is spinning. Maybe a new coalition will form from the left, the right, the uni-party.  I don’t know.  I do know that the pit bulls won’t mind the chaos.  Gotta break some eggs to make an omelette.

Trouble is, we're the eggs.
